Contango is currently in Casa de Ccampo, DR, and we have had an excellent winter of Blue Marlin Fishing! We have decided to leave the boat in the DR all year. We will be moving the boat to Cap Cana Marina in June of this year and remaining there until Nov of 2015, then heading back to Casa de Campo Marina for the winter. The fishing is off the charts, a short run to the fishing grounds. On most days we see or catch 2 to 3 Blue Marlin, in the 100-150lb class, plus Mahi. Capt Daryl Brower and Mate Mario, have it dialed in. For more information, please feel free to email Capt Daryl Brower at email@example.com or call or text him on his DR cell phone at 829-293-9616.
The Contango left North Carolina on New Year’s Day and stopped in Charleston for fuel before heading to Cape Canaveral through the night. After arriving in North Palm Beach the boys had a few days of preparation work plus picking up all those important supplies, and getting some much deserved rest before heading off to the Dominican Republic. While heading to the Dominican Republic, the Contango released a solid 300 pound blue marlin just 45 minutes after they decided to put some lines in while chugging to Marina Casa de Campo Fishing Club!
The Contango is now laying safe and sound in Marina Casa de Campo Fishing Club in the Dominican Republic with Super Mario back on the team. They traveled well and caught a white and blue marlin on the way down; get ready to join us for some of the best blue marlin fishing in the World!
